About the Founder
Hamze Dokoohaki, PhD
Founder & Principal Consultant
Hamze brings over a decade of experience building AI systems at the intersection of agriculture, climate science, and machine learning—spanning academia and industry.
Most recently, he served as Principal Data Scientist at Indigo Agriculture, where he led development of crop yield prediction models and carbon quantification systems. He continues working with Indigo as a Technical Consultant.
In parallel, Hamze holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he previously served as Assistant Professor of Digital Agriculture. His research focuses on knowledge-guided machine learning, contributing to methodologies published in 10s of publications in leading journals.
He also serves as Director of AI at Blooming Health, applying AI to healthcare challenges.
Hamze earned his PhD from Iowa State University, with postdoctoral training at Boston University. His career spans research at Kansas State University and contributions to climate modeling, biochar research, and agricultural systems.
